- Member of the WSMO (Web Service Modeling Ontology)
working group, where we aim on building up a Web Service Modeling Ontology to make semantically enabled Web Services come true.
- Member of the SWSL Committee which was working on a W3C submission
for a lanuage for describing Semantic Web Services, where I was representing the WSMO working group there.
- Involved in inContext an EU sponsored Specific Targeted Research Project (STREP).
- Involved in TripCom a EU sponsored Specific Targeted Research Project (STREP).
- Involved in Infrawebs a EU sponsored Specific Targeted Research Project (STREP).

- For my PhD thesis I was employed in a research
project to develop "A Declarative Planning System Based On
Logic Programming" which was supported by the Austrian Science
Funds (FWF) under project
number P14781.
